Today, 100 days of Modi Government is going to completed

The day Narendra Modi took oath as the Prime Minister of India, he gave a ray of hope to the people of the country. People voted for the change. They wanted a strong leader who has the power to change the current situation and take India on the path of development. Modi's pledge to economic growth, end of corruption and creating job opportunities has generated lots of expectations among people. Will the new government be able to live upto people's expectations? Lets look at what common man expects from Modi and his government.

People are concerned about the growing crime rate in the country. As per the reports, compared to any other state, the crime rate in Delhi is relatively higher. Many cases of murder and kidnapping are being registered on a daily basis. The crime rate against women has been constantly increasing. It increased from 16.8 to 20.7 per lakh women from 2006 to 2012. What people expects from the Modi government are the measures for safety of women.

The gang-rape of the girls in UP shows how unsafe women are in this country. The government not only needs to take effective safety measures but also increase the intensity of punishment for the rapists. The criminal law needs to be amended. Know achievements of Modi government

Overall Development

India needs to be back on the path of development. Modi's claims to make the country an economic powerhouse can only be achieved by the overall development of the country. Like the Gujarat model of development there needs to be a model for every Indian state. For the economic growth of the country investment plans need to be renewed. There are projects which have been delayed for over 30 years. A proper execution plan is needed for these projects. Know more about the Elections in India

Education and Employment

Modi is well aware of the fact that a person is what proper education makes him. During his campaigns Modi expressed his concern over the condition of educational system in the country. The government needs to make people aware of the importance of education. There is a need for allocation of funds to provide proper education and establishment of more educational institutes. Will India be able to retain its identity as 'Vishwa Guru'. What is the reason for poor ranking of India's educational institutes? Can Modi bring reform in the education sector?

After becoming the Prime Minister of India, Modi in his agenda promised to create ample job opportunities. The way to achieve this is by encouraging investment and skill development. Apart from creating fresh job opportunities, laws need to be enacted for job security as well. What changes will the government make to boost employment opportunities?

Kashmir issue

Narendra Modi's victory in the Lok Sabha elections invoked hope amongst the people. The Article 370 which talks about giving special status to the state of Jammu and Kashmir is a tough call for Modi. People feel that Congress which ruled for so many years could not do anything for the people of the state. Should they expect anything from the Modi government? Well in due course of time it will be clear that whether the new government will be able to fulfill the expectations of people of Kashmir or not?

People have given Modi the opportunity. Will he be able to utilise this opportunity? Will he be able to bring about the change people voted for? Hope Modi is able to fulfill the expectations of the people and lead them to the 'promised land'. Know more about the Biography of Narendra Modi
