Atheists: When Men Act Like Gorillas You Have a Planet of Apes

Updated on July 12, 2013

Growing Up to Be Just Like Dad

A Self-Righteous Gorilla

Are you an Evolved Atheist?

Do you put your faith into the theory of evolution?

If so, you need to consider the underlying consequences of an evolving society. My previous article: Are you an Evolved Thinker or Intellectual Thinker touches on the ramifications of how you view the world.

Be warned, what you believe does influence your views on morality.

Absolute morals exist, and are set forth by God's word, also known as the Bible. Those that believe in the faith of evolution feel that they create their own moral standard or simply comply with the law of the land to be a good person. But we learn from God's word that no one is simply a 'good person' by their actions. All humans are sinful, and will have to face God on Judgment Day. You can choose with your free will if you want to go to Heaven or Hell.

The video below shows you what a man looks like when he acts like a gorilla.

A Quick Example of Morality

Let me ask you a quick question:

If you could travel back in time to when Hitler's mother carried baby Hitler in her womb, would you go ahead and take out one of the notorious murderers in the world?

This, of course, would also mean that you would have to kill Hitler's mother as well.

Would this be okay to take 2 lives in order to save millions?

If you answered "Yes," then you are letting your own sense of morality dictate what is right or wrong.

If you acknowledged right off that it is not okay to take any life, whether a pregnant mother, or an unborn baby, then you are more in tune with God's law.

We cannot predict which unborn babies will turn out to be great leaders - or mass murderers - and it is not okay to abort babies.

The rape and incest argument is not a very good one for abortion, because if you are a mother, you understand how traumatic it is to end a baby's life early. That is something you have to live with for the rest of your life, and you will never forget that baby. It is unfortunate when a person is victim to a heinous crime such as rape or abortion, but the solution is not to continue the vicious cycle of sin by aborting an unborn life.

There are many loving families that are willing to adopt a baby and raise it in a loving home.

God can still use that life to his glory.

Gorilla Teaching His Son to Text

Are you a Gorilla or a Man?

Don't raise your children up to think that they are 'glorified gorillas.'

God created us in human form. We didn't evolve this way over millions or billions of years.

Raise your child up to know God and teach them what the Bible says.

When you stand before God on the day of Judgment, you don't want to have to say to God, "I didn't know," when the Bible is available for anyone to study and learn. It has practical application that applies to all cultures and all people in the world.

All readers should note that this Hub does not advocate any particular branch of Christianity (ex. Catholicism, Presbyterianism, etc.). There are many things in history that may have been done in the name of Christ that were not Christian. If I were to go around and commit crimes in the name of McDonald's, would you then blame McDonald's for my crimes. No.

I promote that each individual person finds God in their own life by studying the Bible, and not to blindly follow anyone that just claims to be a Christian. Jesus himself says that not everyone that claims to be a Christian will go to Heaven.

That being said, I follow what God teaches in the Bible: 1) Love God, and 2) Love one another.

Do the people in history you describe Love other people? If not, were they actually following God's instruction? Probably not.

      Zeke,

Good article. Thanks for sharing. I think it's worth mentioning that the Roman Catholic Church was more of a political movement than a religious movement. The Roman church became a state church ruling both the political and the religious realm. It was politics that killed, not God, even they may have erroneously used His Name.

Your entire article assumes that humans, using nothing but trial and error and their own intelligence would not come to some of the same "moral" conclusions as a human accepting and worshipping God (or Jesus). Would it surprise you to know that many Atheists are pacifists, while many Christians aren't? Would it surprise you to know that the single biggest justification for death, murder, execution and torture is "in the name of God"? Please review the long history of death and pain at the hands of the Catholic (and Other Christian) church and religion in general before you preach God's "sanctity of life"
