Why Attack the 2nd Amendment?

Updated on November 22, 2015

Why is it that we always attack the 2nd Amendment when there is any type of shooting what so ever? It's funny in a way, when someone gets stabbed the media, and people blame the person, when someone got beaten to death by a hammer, a rock, or just their bare hands the people, and media blame that person. No one blames the knife, the rock, or the hammer, and not asking for it to be banned. When someone shots someone the gun takes all the blame for it, and the media smiles because it makes their ratings go through the roof. The people are angry at the gun, it is the guns fault it must be banned. Not that person wielding the gun, let’s just face it some people in this world are just plan evil, and the media is not really helping things either by always blasting it on T.V.

We keep attacking the 2nd amendment saying its out dated, and needs to be removed. OK now let’s look through the pages of history. Look at World War 2, a war my grandfather was in as a black Cat. When the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor they didn't invade the United States they left. The Naval Marshall General (Isoroku Yamamoto) who was asked why we are not invading the United States, and he replied these words. Because behind every blade of grass there is a gun. When you look at it the 2nd amendment saved us from being invade, they knew we all had firearms, and was ready to fight on our own soil. I bet some of you are saying well that was seventy years ago. OK your right that was seventy years ago so you still have not learned from our history but you still want it, still ban the big bad guns. Let’s look at other countries that have banned guns. Since gun control is designed to stop people from killing each other and lower violence, at least that is what we are always told.

For example look what happen to China the mass murders their government did to their own people after the vote for gun control in 1935. From 1948 to 1952, 20 million political dissidents, unable to defend themselves, were exterminated by their own government. Look what Hitler did to the Jews. Banned them from owning any firearms what so ever. Again history is repeating itself from the same play books. Make your vote a wise vote. Do not just vote on something just because they promised this or that. Our government has been known to lie to us. Research and study that is how you make a wise vote.

Look at our nation’s capitals murder rate in the United States. (There is a chart below you can see). In 1976 the D.C. city council passed a law generally prohibiting residents from possessing handguns and requiring that all firearms in private homes be (1) kept unloaded and (2) rendered temporally inoperable via disassembly or installation of a trigger lock. You can see it had a huge spike over time which proves it didn't work and the murder rate started dropping. Because there were talks about striking down the law in 2008. As you look at the chart below you can see a lot of lives lost for 30 years. Chicago is just as bad. In 1981 Chicago passed a hand gun ban and it is still in effect to this day, and the murder by hand gun climbs to this very day which again proves a gun ban is a bad idea. (See chart on Chicago below)

Let’s look at a state that also had a high gun murder rate Florida. But in 1987 Florida passed the carry law. After that law was passed the murder by a gun rate dropped, and fast over the years. (See chart on Florida below). Look at Texas they also had a high murder rate as well believe it or not. Yes the great state of Texas cowboy country. Until 1995 they passed a right to carry law as well and there murder rate dropped fast to over the years. (See Texas chart below)

That is just the homicide rates, not related to any other crimes at all. The rate of robbery, assault, and rape have gone up as well in other countries. Real case in point gun control will never work. Poverty has a greater correlation to violent crime than access to firearms. Education and poverty are directly linked. In short, we don’t have a gun problem in the United States, we have a cultural problem. Most people in the gun control lobby know nothing about firearms or their construction.

Instead of attacking the 2nd amendment. Educate yourself learn, and read the 2nd amendment, and how to shot a Firearm before you make these decisions of banning guns. Remember the people have the power not our government. They want a gun ban badly so that they can have more power. To be honest we really don't want that. Do the right thing. Just educate yourself, and go shot a gun before you make that big decision. Because the decision may be the wrong one. So we don't just gave a sleeping giant some major control on our lives to force us to do there will, and not our own.

Should we ban guns

I believe the Obama regime is in co-hoots with the evil one world empire. Be that the Muslim scourge or other. The U.S. and other gun friendly countries are in the way or their plans. Arms to me is anything that can be carried comfortably by the average person. Small rockets, drones, signal jamming devices, small anti-vehicle devices etc. Mr O is trying to take back surplus weapons from local enforcements. I think the big stuff will become available when some of the leaders revolt against the tyrannical regime. There has been rumors of this happening at some of the secret underground and underwater bases recently.

CITIZENS must always have available to them weapons on par with those weapons carried by law enforcement and soldiers as those are the very people we will have to defend ourselves against under martial-law.

Thank God for our Right to "Keep & Bear" which simply means own and CARRY.

It is wrong for the press and politicians to call them machine guns or even assault weapons if they are not what the fully auto version is. Sweden allows it's veterans to keep their weapon if they convert it from full auto to semi-auto. I know same semis can be converted to autos.

well the weapons that they had were not full auto but yes they had 30 round mags and took the officers to long to get there to make a difference and if people did conceal carry more lives would be alive today. Like how i explained it in my last two other blogs

We will need it more than ever now to combat these terrorist attacks ! How many would have been save in San Bernardino if more citizens at that party concealed carried? And we need the same weapons the average terrorist uses. That being fully autos and large capacity magazines etc.
