Why Donald Trump Remains In The Media

Updated on December 7, 2015

The world we live in is one that pays attention to the strangest things in media. A lot of attention is given to celebrities and this is taken away from some real issues going on out there. Lately, the media has been giving a lot of air-time to the infamous Donald Trump who is running for election in 2016. His words are blunt, very irrational, and downright ill-mannered. Trump furthers stereotypes and continuously has to recant statements due to his spew of words offending massive communities. Even though Trump manages to be uncivil on national television, he still is put on a platform to spread primitive reforms and here are the reasons why.

Trump's Net Worth

Some people believe that gravity makes the world go round' and others believe it's money. With money, you are able to make people do things and even make yourself important. Trump has a net worth of more than 4 billion U.S. dollars. When you do the math, that is a lot of money. He has enough money to funds his own campaign which is a large part of running for presidency. Usually, candidates look for bids that can get them the exposure needed to run for the seat in the White House. When you have the kind of money Trump has and know the people he knows, it is pretty easy to thrust yourself into society's microscope.

Being Politically Incorrect

Being politically correct in politics is one of the most important things. You have to know how to talk to a diverse audience correctly to maintain likeability. There is an invisible code of honor that politicians must follow or it will be difficult to work in the world that they do. Donald Trump follows his own code of honor. Some would think that this would be a strike against Donald Trump, but it actually propels him. Sometimes being politically correct can be considered deceptive because it becomes just a means of saying what the people want to hear. Although Trump says questionable things, he always says what he thinks which amplifies his genuine. He's not nice, but he is real.

He Means Business

Corporate America is rooting for Donald Trump. In the last few years, there has been a lot of banter about the one-percent, or the upper class in America, needing to be taxed higher because the wealth distribution is only getting worse as each year goes by. As a capitalist country, there is bound to be a separation between the wealth and poverty, but as a democratic-republic, the people have the ability to push for reform. The president has to make sure they address the nation on such endeavors and decide an action plan on how to tackle situations such as the Walk on Wall Street. As a businessman, he is inclined to side with corporate America, which gives him some sense of appeal.

Ratings

If had not noticed, news stations are businesses and they have to maintain ratings. People like listening to the rantings of Donald Trump, so news stations will play him for often. Trump is always discussing a controversial topic. If you someone who is running for presidency talks about banning a specific religion, the islamic religion or muslims, from America, then it becomes a buzzworthy topic. Angering a massive group of people will get the world talking. Activists will speak against you, but in the media, any publicity is good publicity. As a member of the independent party, meaning he has no affiliations with Republicans or Democrats, the entire population is listening to what is individual beliefs are because he has no predispositions. It's kind of like he made his own party, and there are people out there willing to stand by him. The media continuously highlights him because we want to hear the wild ramblings in order to break them down and discuss the disputatious words quoted by Trump himself. Trump in the media is very paradoxical. People listen to him because his claims are dubious and because his claims are dubious people listen to him.

Food For Thought

Will Trump win the presidency? It's too soon to find out. The more people you can reach with your voice, the more people will actually believe in what you are saying. At this point, you can never tell, but I can tell you this. Trump is gaining speed by the second, and this article itself is one of the reasons why.

Do you think Donald Trump will win the election in 2016?

Immigrants make up a massive percentage of the working class, and some of these kids are citizens even if just from the luck of being born here. Donald Trump has made people talk, and had engaged in a strengthful attempt to move the people, but a good president fights for what he believes in without crushing the toes of other. We all want change to come about, but it takes time and passive thinking not aggression. The United States was built on the idea of immigration, and now because we have developed we are going back on the foundation? Donald Trump is also aiming to stop an entire religion, even students who are looking to further their education. This is more than just scary, it takes us back to a time when Japanese citizens were sent to camps in a World War. Some might think this is the beginning of a positive reform, but this can be a slippery slope to a dangerous path. We are no longer in an time that the world is separated. We have reached a point in which we have to repair our country without disturbing world peace.

Trump may be unpolished, he may be insensitive to some, and he may even considered an egomaniac, but he is a master at tapping into mainstream America. Is it wrong for Americans to say we want to keep our country just the way it is? Is it wrong for Americans to not want foreigners move into our communities who have no intention of assimilating? Is it wrong for us to want to enforce our laws? To keep our sovereignty? To keep our citizens safe? To use our wealth to better our people and our lands? To decide who we should be allied with?

These are a few of the topics which the mainstream media calls us racists, bigots, and all sorts of other negatives. Trump on the other hand makes these symbols of pride and he is demonstrating he is not afraid to stand up for those symbols and the people who made them powerful. Trump is using common sense and speaking to people on a level they understand. The same people who watched their jobs go overseas due to political maneuvering, the same people who see their kids being shortchanged in schools because of illegals and immigrants who cannot speak our language, the same people who see crime rates skyrocketing and their retirements shrinking - all in the name of political correctness.

Say what you want about the methodologies Mr. Trump is employing, but deep down, you know he is right. We are a nation of laws and our laws need enforced. We do NOT owe anyone that isn't a US citizen anything. We do NOT have to take refugees, immigrants, or offer any aid or help to anyone if we decide not to. The United Nations is NOT in control of this country - it's run by We the People and We the People are sick of being back burnered by people who are ruining OUR country for their own personal power or financial gain.

I am sorry, but your hub is entirely wrong on Donald Trump

      -----------------

His words are blunt, very irrational, and downright ill-mannered.

Trump furthers stereotypes and continuously has to recant statements due to his spew of words offending massive communities.

Even though Trump manages to be uncivil on national television,

he still is put on a platform to spread primitive reforms

      ****************

Keep in mind that our country hit the skids because of the professional politician, and the democrat and republican party lines.

Political Correctness is an abridgement to the Freedom of Speech. And it has created the thin skin Americans, to where some faction of the population is always getting offended.

His words may be blunt, but that is a positive because he is being transparent while the rest of the politicians will tell you what you want to hear, and then ignore it when they get into office. This is verifiable by looking at the history of the politicians.

When words like "Irrational" are used, they need to have examples that indicate why they are irrational.

Ill manured is subjective, and it also needs clarification and examples.

Uncivil, really, again we need context and examples.

Primitive Reforms: Where has the professional politicians, and the democrats and republican had any successful reforms?

      ------------------------------

He has enough money to funds his own campaign which is a large part of running for presidency.

      **********************

This is a good thing because the other candidates will be getting campaign money from people and organizations that will want favors.

      --------------------------------

The politicians code of honor, has been the same as honor among thieves.

History will show that both political parties and most of the presidents, and congress have been the creators and have maintained the unequal distribution of wealth through the use of the Federal Income Tax.

The poor don't pay taxes, and while the wealthy are taxed at a higher marginal rate than the middle class, the Internal Revenue Code has been created by Congress of both parties to give loopholes to only the rich.

Neither party has tried to change these loopholes.

In 2008, the US Government having given the power to the large financial corporations were forced to bail them out, Trump didn't cause this situation, your professional politicians and the dems and repubs party did it, over and over again, and they are still doing it today.

      Wild Ramblings

      Disputatious

      Dubious

      ****************************

      Definitions of disputatious

      1

      adj

inclined or showing an inclination to dispute or disagree, even to engage in law suits

      “a disputatious lawyer”

      Synonyms:

      combative, contentious, disputative, litigious

      argumentative

given to or characterized by argument

Donald Trump really disagrees with the other candidates, many of whom were responsible for the 2008 meltdown, and have not been able to bring the country out of the decline.

      Full Definition of RAMBLE

      intransitive verb

      1

a : to move aimlessly from place to place

      b : to explore idly

      2

: to talk or write in a desultory or long-winded wandering fashion

      3

: to grow or extend irregularly

None of these definitions apply to Donald Trump, so adding wildly doesn't bring him into the definition at all. He is in opposition of the trend of previous presidential campaigns where the end result was a president that ignored all their presidential promises.

      du·bi·ous

Where are the examples that try to connect Donald Trump with Dubious?

With all due respect this article has nothing to do with Trump's success.
