Why Gun Control Will Never Work

Greg has many opinions when it comes to politics and education. He has no qualms with voicing his opinion..

The Frog is stepping into a hot zone. Gun control is a very debated subject in the United States right now.

I will be the first to say that the school shootings and other monstrous crimes committed with guns have been tragic and I pray that victims and their families overcome all the emotional and physical damage they have endured.

Gun control is not the answer to the problem.

After doing tons of research, it is very obvious that if a deranged mind wants to commit a crime taking multiple lives, gun control will not stop it. It will not even slow it down.

With technology, people will always have weapons. There are just too many ways to make them. It is possible to now 3D print your own gun. Just watch this video:

Removed Files

For quite a long time, people could upload the files to make their own weapons right through Defcad's website. The Department of Defense has taken all those files down, but how many people have already uploaded them? I am sure if I did a bit of searching, I could get the files somewhere.

We live in a highly technological world. The government will never be able to stop people from having guns that want to have guns. As he said in the video, if a person really had the desire, they could make that lower arm of an AR-15 out of wood. A gun can be made from many different items laying around people's homes.

Zip guns have been made in extreme circumstances. Just Google zip gun and you will find many ways to make a gun with items just laying around the house.

Here is one that would cost you around $2: All you need is:

  • Rubber Dish-washing Gloves
  • A 3/8ths inch female to female coupling
  • A 2″ 3/8ths inch pipe
  • A 3/8ths to 1/4-inch adapter
  • A drill bit wrapped in duct tape (a 10- to 16-penny nail or similar will suffice in lieu of the drill bit)
  • A round of 9mm ammo, with the case wrapped in duct tape.

There was a video showing the process, but it was removed. How many watched it and downloaded it before though? Actually, just knowing what the ingredients are, I could easily figure it out.

So will laws work?

Ok, say the government manages to take away all possibilities of making those kind of guns. People have minds that will find a way.

Since the dawn of time, mankind has adapted and found ways to kill and to defend themselves.

Look at what this guy developed with just stuff laying around the house:

So with that you can even make your own ammo.

If you really think about it, a person could work with that design some and could come up with a fully automatic gun.

Gun control is not the answer.

Teaching morals is the answer.

Jesus Christ is the answer.

Stronger punishments for those who murder and rape is the answer.

Wake Up People

We didn't have the school shootings and craziness back in the 60's and 70's that we do now. People had guns then. What has changed?

It is morals and taking Jesus and God out of the schools, workplaces and homes.

Those who would argue that have their god, and his name is Lucifer. They may debate that, but they have no leg to stand on. Man, woman or child, we all worship one or the other. You either worship the Triune God or the evil beast that was thrown out of heaven.

Until people step back and start teaching their children the Truth, the Word of God, the stuff will keep happening, with or without gun control laws.

Put prayer back in school and the ten commandments back in the courts. That is the first step. Recognize that Jesus Christ is our Savior, Lord and King and God will restore.

If you don't know Jesus as Lord, now is the time. Just ask Him into your heart and open the Bible and read. A good place to start is the book of Romans.

If we all put Jesus first, gun control will not be needed. Heart control is what is needed. If people's hearts are in control, they will not use guns against other humans.

I agree with you and feel that gun control will never work as well. People essentially still need guns to hunt for food for their families. Along with a long list of various other reasons that conflict will gun control being limited or obliterated. Nice read overall. Voted up and shared.

Before you wish guns out of the universe you might want to read "A World Without Guns."

You know what I think about guns... If it was in my hands I will wipe them out of the Universe. I love the last video. Voted up and across and shared in case someone ignores what are the kids up to. What they have learn from the adults is what they practice.
