Why you shouldn't give out personal information on Craigslist

Updated on February 18, 2010

Its more than just scamming!

There is more than just scamming going on through Craigslist. Let me address this first: "Craigslist is a great website, those who use it are the real criminals."

There is more at risk than getting scammed with fake cashier's checks and real estate fraud. There is identity theft and much more. Some people have done the unthinkable using Craigslist as their hunting ground. Look at the videos and read the information below to find out just how dangerous Craigslist users can be to your financial and physical wellbeing.

Humor lol

Okay, now the video located above was a joke. It was a humorous, lesson teaching video about Craigslist. Now take a look at the video below on an actual case that took place where a man was robbed of all his belongings because someone posted an ad on Craigslist stating that he was leaving the country and he was giving away all of his stuff for free.

Thanks Mr williams. Good information to have. I don't use Craigslist but I do sell on Ebay. Even there, with all of the precautions, you do have to be careful.

You never know who you are dealing with or what new scams are being created.

      God Bless.
