I'm sorry to say that, in my opinion, the troubles in Egypt are not at all isolated. The world economy is making it hard for young people to find employment in many countries. If the governments are looking out for their people's best interests things are fine. But many of the current governments are lead by old, established, and many times corrupt leaders and institutions. Couple that with a dissatisfied generation that is tired of the old ways and don't have the means to support themselves and that is a timebomb waiting to happen. Look for more unrest from other nations to come.

What we are witnessing currently in Egypt is a reflexion of the aspirations of the Arab World as a whole.

It seems that Tunisia has proven that people have the power to depose their dictator and that their hope for a better future are within their grasp.

But do not be fooled the anger felt by the Arab as a nation is not only directed to their leaders; the Western World is also on the list. Arabs are tired of being associated with Islamists. It seems that whenever a man is a devout muslim it automatically means he is a fanatic. What most peolple do not understand about Islam, is that it is a part of the Arab psyche, it who they are. The majority wants to live their faith in peace and privacy.

Arabs want to live free...... Dictatorship and repression are the ennemies that will push them towards fanatical Regime.

Democracy I believe will free them, in every way possible.

I believe a chain of events that led to these consequences, the information revolution has brought exchange mechanisms ever imaginable, is inadmissible in the modern world is not a country ruled by the people, nothing happens in isolation, everything is part of a context.

I agree with onestop4islam on this.  Due to the increased availability of information (as in internet, satellite etc) people around the globe are waking up and smelling the stench that West has created in the name of stability and self interest by propping up "stooges" in the Arab world.  Mark my word the countries to follow if Egypt is successful in this will be:
    (1) Jordan
    (2) Saudi Arabia

Then you will see a wave of people power across the middle East and some parts of Asia.
