But is he the man for the job?  I am hesitant to back someone based on the fact that is knows how to make money.  Foreign policy?  Homeland Security issues?

For me the problem is that he is used to solving problems with money.  Having purchasing power is important in some aspects of life, but running a country?  I don't see it.  I think he has forgotten what the common man needs and what it is like to struggle to pay for the simplest things.

What I do see is his running taking away votes from legitimate candidates the way Ross Perot's presidential run did.

What has Trump ever done?   Borrow tons of money, blackmail others into funding his ideas, NONE of which are wealth producers.

No, I'm no fan of Trump.   He's vain, shallow, and his "acumen" is about getting other people to fund what he wants.   In other words, a salesman.   This hardly makes a man whose job it is, to tell people "no".

Personally Not A Fan Of Politics But Someones Gotta Do It..I Have Mixed Feelings But I Think He Is Correct On Some Points Such As Oil & China..Sales Is A Big Part Of Everyday Negotiations..Our Country Is In Trouble With All This Debt..Working For People Helps The Economy..But Tangable Inventions That Could Grow Our GDP In Times Like This Are Important..Small Business Seems Like The Solution For The USA Plus I Feel Removing Political Benefits That Provide Boundries For The Small Guy WIth The Smarts Or Ideas Would Def Help Us Prosper.

Berlusconi is also an Entrepreneur and just as Entrepreneurs are inclined to do he has abused his power for his own profit and has created laws to hinder his being brought to justice for doing so. Business men of all nations have at least two things in common: a driving desire for power at all costs and a lack of conscience and responsibility with regard to the general public.

Not a big trump gan but Bush was the worst business man ever and made as a horrible president.  So maybe a candidate with business sense would really be good for the USA.

It's just further proof that the Republicans can't get anybody good to run for president. Any normal, intelligent conservative has a high paying job in the private sector. So if Obama ever looses it'll be Prez Sarah Palin or Trump. One good thing about this now that Huckabee is going on about Obama's growing up in Africa, the law won't change to allow Arnold Schwarzenegger to run.

Short of Sara Palin, Trump would be the best thing the republicans could do for the democrats.

Yes I would vote for Donald Trump in a minute and I have never liked him. Apparently he knew how to become rich so if he uses the same principal for us what have we got to lose, there is no one better I can see and I am not a person super glued to one party, in fact I would love to see a third one and kick every butt in DC out! What have they done for us, 75% have been dead for twenty years just on vacation collecting checks they don't have a brain left or a heart either apparently to let us get in this shape!

I pray that He never becomes president. I feel like all he would do would be to us his power for financial gain. The president has so much power with the economy just with what he says.

It would be very interesting to see the "Donald" make a run for the Whitehouse, then shortly after the first GOP debate , his own loyals & exploratory committee members shout out in one collective voice "YOUR FIRED !!"....Then within minutes, they line up behind the other "Winner" Sarah....

But seriously, I would like to see the "Trumpster" make a go of it,  but if he can't resist the temptation of "Trumpeting" this "Birther" nonsense, the only votes he's gonna get are the ones that lie just "left" of Sean Hammity's 9,000 loyal viewers....Which ain't that many....

If President Obama who was born with a perfume scented lei around his collar, in the lovely state of Hawaii, is a non resident according to a select few, where does that leave poor old John McCain who admits he was born somewhere in the Panama Canal Zone?, Is he a legit Senator or not?......Alrighty Then...

Donald is not the answer.  We need someone with good negotiating skills, not a bully.  His mouth will write checks our military budget won't back up.

I think you should see what Rick Scott is doing in FLA...business guys don't know how to govern...they become dictators....Government will never run the same as a business...It can be run more business-like but all business goals are to make money...Besides the fact your talking about a guy that is so in love with himself and thinks he knows everything...Bush III

I've heard Trumps views on China and he is probably right when he says they are ruthless. My problem with Trump is he is probably the same way.He even admitted they he has made money in business deals with China.

I wonder how many people know that Cosco is partly owned by China military generals.

We have so many companies that Import products from China that if,they start having Inflation in China all Imported products from there would increase in price.
Not only China but worldwide I would imagine as the price of fuel increases.

I think Trump might  make a good secretary of commerce.

    Not president.
