Well, I think it could go either of two ways. We can "get it" and begin working together realizing we have far more in common, and that we are all on this beautiful little planet together. In which case we would put an end to corporate rule, and shut down the Federal Reserve, stopping the march toward one oppressive world government.
We would get back to sustainable practices and food would be produced locally and seasonally. We would embrace the barter system and place value on the things that really matter which are friends, family, and free time to enjoy them both.
If we do not choose this path and remain hooked to our television sets, buying the propaganda we are being fed, then it does not look too good for humanity. If we follow this course, then I believe it will be mandatory to find another planet to inhabit and destroy. The wealthy will launch their space arc and start a new civilization on Mars. NASA already has the plans for such an expedition. Robots will be controlled from the moon and will build a city on Mars. Of course all but the richest will be left to perish here on earth suffering the fate created by corporate greed and shortsightedness.
