The Internet doesn't technically exist solely within the US, so it's not subject to all of its laws. If the proprietors of a website don't want any objectionable content, they can ban it from appearing there. Plus, this site works closely with AdSense, who have their own set of standards.
Because of First Amendment rights, you will find many such writings that may be considered racist, obscene or objectionable to somebody in bookstores, even in the public library. It's also a matter of perception; what's racist, obscene or objectionable is relative.
