Is it important to think of the future generation? if yes how?
Yes,
but we don't. We are polluting the atmosphere, plummeting our world into another recession and wasting our natural resources.
YES!! History shows us how much the world has changed in the last 100 years (not to mention 1000) and if it has taught us anything it should be to think of the future generations. We would not have our health systems and modern technology if the people of the past just said, 'well since we are going to die soon we shouldn't even bother.' Most people want to know that they have happy and healthy children and grandchildren. Maybe you will never meet them down the line, or know they exist depending on your belief systems, but in your heart you usually want to know that they will have the opportunity for a great life. If that isn't enough of a reason just remember you would not be alive today if your ancestors did not care enough about the future!
I think as a predominantly Christian nation that we figure Jesus will come back before then anyway. But yes. Respecting your environment is always important.

I heard a radio program the other day. It reported on a study done on the future of our natural resources. We should think how to alleviate the ramifications of our atrocious acts. Acts which made the hole in the ozone layer over the Antarctica, this hole permits UV rays to melt the ice glaciers resulting in floods and hurricanes (UV rays are also harmful for us, as these rays lead to skin cancer). Acts...
