Will Rick Santorum be able to take Michigan and Arizona as he he told ABC he would?
Santorum suggested to ABC's "This Week" that a strong showing in Michigan & Arizona would make the presidential contest "a two-man race," dismissing current rivals Newt Gingrich and Ron Paul. Furthermore, Santorum said Sunday he could do "exceptionally well" in Michigan, where Romney's father served as governor and where Mitt grew up. What say you?
Michigan, probably not since the Romney name still carries weight in Michigan, and Michigan is a more moderate northern state. Arizona, is a definite possibility with its proximity to Utah and more conservative western style Republican base.
I do not think Santorum should be counted out anywhere. His popularity is growing and the latest polls show he is in a dead tie with Romney. His popularity and the wins he has had has brought him the exposure he needed. Just because the Romney name has some history in Michigan does not mean he is going to be the clear winner. It is always up to the voters to choose who they feel is the right candidate.
The media seems to always inject psychology into political races and it sometimes backfires. If Romney wins it will be the voters who decide not the media. If Santorum wins in either or both states it will boost him as a contender for the nomination more than it has to date.

Habee, Rommney is a very flawed and stupid man. You would vote for him? Santorum is even dumber, as he fails to understand that state religion is false religion. Both are losers. Seriously Habee. Romney strapped his dog to the top of the car and the dog ran away when they got to their destination....

If Santorum wins Michigan, does it mean all bets are off for Romney?New polling shows that Rick Santorum can beat Romney in Michigan on Feb. 28th. Should Romney step down if he loses in Michigan?

It doesn't look like my first pick in the GOP field, Huntsman, is going to get enough traction, so I've been reading more about Mitt. You guys prolly already know this, but I didn't know the details until now:- Mitt balanced his state's budget- he didn't accept a salary as gov. and paid for his...

Poor Mitt, the man with no judgement just called $700k income "middle income". This man was born without a thimble full of judgement. <link snipped>Remember, First he jokes he is unemployed to unemployed people. Then his wife says she doesn't feel rich after they brought home 42...
