Now, in this case, I assume that what you mean by "family" is two parents and a child or children.
Well, because I am old school, I consider a family to be a female mom, a male dad, and their child or children (whether the children are their biological ones or adopted).
However, two males being "married" to each other and two females being "married" to each other are not families.
Those relationships are nothing more than examples of individuals making desperate attempts to legitimize an illegitimate way of life.
In other words, I am "pro-family" and "anti-same-sex marriage" at the very same time and, in no way, is that a double standard on my part.
And the reason why that is the case is, a "same-sex couple" does not constitute a family. About the only thing a union such as that constitutes is a souped-up hook up between two individuals who have the hots for each other and who want to do such things as carry one another on their group-health-insurance plans.
