Absolutely. Allow drilling here in an environmentally-friendly way, and continue to look for alternatives to fossil fuels as we do so. I had read recently that the U.S. has oil and natural gas reserves available equal to a supply that would provide us with enough fuel, at current usage, to last two hundred years. We are hostages to oil-producers that are not our friends and who could shut off our supplies at a moment's notice to 'punish' us. I am old enough to remember the 1973 Oil Embargo by OPEC which caused shortages in America and gas lines at the stations. Drill, baby, drill.
