I don't much care. They've done it before. The dependent classes of French society voted out Sarkozy and his budget cutting ideas, voted in someone who will keep giving them other people's money until it runs out.
It wasn't a landslide election. Hollande didn't win by a big margin. A difference of one is enough, though, so he's now got the office, and the obligation to face the impossible problem of keeping all his campaign promises of public largesse. He too will be thrown out when it becomes clear he can't deliver, or when France starts to collapse due to the European economic crisis Hollande's election will accelerate and exacerbate, whichever comes first.
