With social networks like Facebook cropping up everywhere, it's got me wondering about online social etiquette. If someone has the habit of swearing a lot (in general), should they censor their language in order to not offend new online friends/acquaintances, or should they just continue to be themselves? Is censoring yourself another way of changing who you are, or is it just common courtesy to avoid foul language until you know whether the other person uses it too or not?
