Who hates more:  the left or the right?

What happened?  I asked a question.  Why am I unable to share my hubs on Facebook?  Even a fellow hubber could not find me.  Who hates people with a vitriol more, the left or the right?

There seem to be people and groups on the right for whom there is no comparable equivalent on the left. Westboro and Phelps and their anti-homosexual message, Pastor Jones and other anti-Muslim types, as well as the numerous neo-nazi and white supremacist organizations. Same thing with some of the commentators. People like Limbaugh or Coulter are really nasty people. I'm not sure how anyone stands listening to them, even if they to some extent agree with their positions.

That doesn't of course mean everyone on the left is angelic, I just don't think it is as bad. At any rate, vitriol seems to be on the rise. I'm all for passion, but hatred is an entirely different thing, and those full of it should really find more positive and constructive ways of expressing themselves. Having an actual debate in a public forum these days has become nearly impossible. That is a problem for everyone.

I think there is a moral hatred on both sides, and xtreme hate of Christians.  The discussion should always be "intellectual" and not "emotional."  I was assaulted because of the way I "look." As an actress, gay men were my friends. Not now. I did no

You're right, though, there should be discussion on both sides.  The violence though against women is on the rise, and I believe promulgated by other women as well as men.  I write conservative pieces and I don't hate homosexuals.  I am libertarian conservative, meaning I believe one should do what they want as long as they do not hurt anyone else or break laws.  I hear the left talk vile about Christianity so the vitriol is on both sides.  As an actress, I performed in the theatre with gay men as "scene partners."  There was no animosity.  My teacher was a gay male and we were good friends.  But that is because we worked together towards a goal sufficient for our desires.  His world was his world, and my world was my world.  As regards sex, I have heard the same talk show hosts talk about hetereosexuality too.  But the more distinguishing violence and crimes I have seen (directed towards me) had nothing to do with what I did or said.  I survived attempted murder strictly because of the way I "Look" and it was a self-righteous judgmental liberal WOMAN who planned the whole attack.  On a more political plane, we must elevate ourselves ABOVE the emotional stuff.  It is all bulls&*t.

To listen to the completely huhinged rhetoric of leftists such as Howard Dean, Nancy Pelosi, Jessie Jackson and others, one would think that we live on a different planet. The left is positively consumed by misdirected hatred.

The left invariably claims greater tolerance and less bigotry, but that is merely its infamous hypocrisy. Its own standards of civility have been on recent display in Wisconsin. The looney lefties Ed Schultz and Keith Olbermann make the eevul righties Limbaugh and Coulter look like Girl Scouts. It is the left, not the right, that has been shooting up opponents' campaign headquarters and assaulting their campaign workers in the latest national elections. The most extremist rhetoric on the floor of congress comes from left of the aisle, not from the right. There is no contest. The left wins the hatred race by lengths, not a nose.
