How much does it cost, per hour, to run the things in your house such as a ceiling fan, a 60 watt equivalent compact florescent light bulb, a led light bulb, a game console, a cable box, or anything else you may know of?
More then it should. But here's how you can find out. Every household appliance has an consumption per hour. So all you have to do is multiply the energy cost to the energy consumption of the appliance. The consumption is usually printed on the back or underneath the object. If it's not there you will most definitely find it in the users manual and/or box it came in.
