In this campaign, the important issue is not just how much money Romney is spending. In terms of raising and spending money directly for their campaigns, Obama will be more successful than Romney. It's the SuperPac spending where Romney will kick Obama's butt. The big spenders tend to be Republicans, largely because they are not big fans of taxes and business regulations that could cut into their profits. So prepare for the flood of negative ads over the next few months. At least here in California, I won't have to watch much of it. Since this is not a swing state, we will be ignored, which is probably a blessing.

I am sure he is spending some of his money, but I am sure a major majority is filtering in from the Mormon church, who rakes in over 10 billion annually from their loyal adherents (cash cows).

Counting campaign, party and PAC money altogether, the retardicans have a hundred million dollar deficit against the demwits. Labor unions are swamping the Koch Brothers and Adelman combined, and Obama is a spectacularly successful money grubbing animal. He always has been, he has history's biggest political machine, history's fattest campaign accounts, and he and his party still have a huge advantage in funding. Romney and his party are gaining ground now the primaries are effectively over, but they probably can't catch up by election day. The difference is just too great.

Last month, Romney was outspent in spades, especially in the swing States. Obama flooded the airwaves and Internet with between 65 and 100 million in attack ads, depending on whom you ask. It failed to move the polls much at all, which is a testament to just how despised Obama and the congressional demwits have become among the voting public. They can't keep up that pace, either, so they have shot the wad and missed the target. A more even spending balance should be forming now, with retardican spending rising.

Romney and his party raised a hundred million last month, probably ten or twenty more than their competitors, if you count an estimate of hidden resources devoted to politics particularly by organized labor. That is the best measure of what each can spend. There will be nothing left on either hand when the campaign is over, so pay more attention to fundraising than to the spending reports.

As much as he wants to. He has very deep pockets. Wish I could say the same for his personality.

The last time I checked, $155 million was raised by Romney.
