It is funny if you think about it. If a cop busts in it is prostitution. If a cop busts in and there is a video camera in the room then it is porn and it is okay.
i i run a numbers game its racketering,.... if the state does it its a lottery
if i run a poker game its illeagal,.. if the state sanctions a casino,... oh well
Likewise, if your name is Barack Obama and you want to sell three dollar tickets to a drawing for dinner at Anna Wintour's, it's politics as usual. Try that for dinner at your house, and you may be charged for an illegal gambling operation.
i think they got in trouble because they were foolish enough not to pay the poor gal, and they didnt realize she would go to the police, as was her right to do,.... they got busted for being criminaly STUPID, ha!
christ also taught th parable of the talents,... just sayin re; money
Yes, He did. Money isn't the problem. It's the "love of money" that causes a person to do something wrong that is the problem.
i fully agree that prostitution is a moral wrong,... but so is gambling,... so is drunkenness,.. so is failing your children,.. but the state runs a lottry, taxes liqure and dictates child welfare standards.
And I fail to see your point.........everything you mentioned is equally wrong.............Just because the state runs things a certain way doesn't mean it makes wrongs right. The Bible is the absolute for right and wrong......read it! :)
lets not hi-jack daskittlez69's Q for the purpos of debate, of which i think there is none, peace and god bless my friend, we are on different pages of the same book. -jack
@Emily: Whether or not prostitution is immoral depends on the morals in question. Not everyone holds it so. The question wasn't about that, though, it was about legality, which has nothing to do with morality.
