   Why do so many people hate Fox News?
   
   There are many biased channels that do not receive the negative statements Fox News receives.  Whether you believe Fox News is biased or not, why does it receive so much negative attention?

   I do believe Fox is biased in most cases. There are many shows they host that I like, but I am not an avid supporter of the channel. If you watch the O'reilly Factor, you can see how Bill O'relliy demonstrates the animosity Fox has towards liberal and democratic views.
   Really, I can't speak for everyone, but that's just what I've seen.

      I will BET you that all the talk 24/7 is how Obama stole or raided from SS. Once it was his "muslimness" "Moochelle",  and how stupid he is cause he went to Harvard. oozes

   FOX News is easily the farthest off of center of the major news organizations. It is virtually impossible to disentangle their talking points from the Republican party which makes them an agent of political propaganda and not a news organization. What about that isn't worth detesting? We should all be able to recognize such bias and find it unacceptable.

      You are way off base on this one.  CNN should stand for "Communist News Network"; MSNBC is even farther to the left.  If you agree with their beliefs, that is fine, but don't try to pretend they are something other than left wing media.

      The only way CNN and MSNBC are liberal is if you have no idea what a liberal is. Alternet and Thinkprogress are liberal. CNN isn't even close. And there is still a lot of room to the left of even those two. Most of the media is solidly centrist.

      People think news without bias is liberal. CNN doesn't come close to the demonizing and spin FOX news channel has. FOX news tells people what to think 24/7 and never challenges republicans and simply won't cover things they can't spin to fit.

      It's the only channel for republicans. Britney Spears was really popular too is she "the best" FOX thinks for people too much

   Since their ratings are the highest in the news business, they are obviously liked by a lot of people. But to answer the question, liberals hate it when someone gives the right a voice, which really wasn't done until Fox came around. The major networks have been liberal for a long time and it wasn't until Fox popped up that conservatives had a place to go for the news without a liberal bias. Yes, there is planty of conservative bias on Fox, and if you aren't intelligent enough to separate the bias from the news, then you probably shouldn't be watching the news anyway.
   
   But, if anyone thinks there is no bias on MSNBC then they really are delusional. The hosts are frequently pushing agendas even on the "news" shows.
   Example: Thomas Roberts has at least one segment a day lavishing praise on someone in the LGBT community for their bravery in some way or another because it's his agenda as a gay man. Ok, so what? I guess if that's what MSNBC thinks is ok, then it's not my place to complain. I just change the channel, which we are all free to do.

   Because they are the most blatantly biased major news organization in America, while simultaneously claiming to be "fair and balanced."  The lady doth protest do much, me thinks.

   I have to LOL at the folks that think because they are highest rated means they are the best.  McDonald's sells the most hamburgers and they aren't, even remotely the best burgers---just great marketing.  People don't, in general, hate Fox News.  They hate that Fox claims it's fair and balanced when it is clearly nothing more than a right-wing propaganda machine.  Let me be clear, I'm talking about the Fox NEWS Channel and not their regular programming like The Simpsons.  If you truly want to know just Google things like Fox News Lies or go on youtube and watch the tons of videos on all the lies and manipulations that Fox News engages in.  Google fox news goes to court for right to lie to their viewers because they are "entertainment".  Watch Outfoxed: Rupert Murdoch's War on Journalism documentary.    Because some people believe what they want to believe. It is comforting to be reafirmed rather than challenged. Most people that hate fox news don't watch it. They read other biased comments that distorts the truth. Yes, fox news is biased to the right but so are other news programs that bias to the left. The difference is that some people identify with those groups and can't imagine that there are sane people that believve otherwise.
