Why are people saying Romney would bomb Iran? What a scary statement.
"Well, my doctrine is as I've described, which is confidence in our cause, clarity in our purpose, and resolve in our might." -- Mitt Romney
In other words, "we are right, we don't question our rightness, and will bomb the hell out of anyone who gets in our way."
From everything that I have read, as long as things stay mostly the same, Iran will be able to eventually produce a nuclear weapon if they want to. Romney has stated in absolute terms (and of course doesn't seem to question himself) that a nuclear-armed Iran can not exist. When an inevitable action meets an absolute response there can be only one outcome.
If this wasn't bad enough, Romney is surrounding himself with a pack of neocons. E.g. John Bolton for whom bombs are the very first diplomatic option on the table. He also has a number of foreign policy advisors who are board members of Foreign Policy Initiative, a neoconservative advocacy group. These are a lot of the same guys who gave us the Iraq masterpiece. Trigger-happy fearmongers with a fetish for blowing humans into little pieces.
Over the next two months, you're going to hear that Romney would take your children to sell for medical research. It will come from the same people doing the same thing: fearmongering.
How long do we think Russia and China are going to stay on the sidelines after Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, and supporting Georgia in her attack on Russia. One more, two more? These are very big boys with lots of world shaking destruction at their fingertips. Iran is not Arabs- they are Persians and go back a long why in history. If Iran is attacked we'd all best get down on our knees and do whatever it is one would do in an absolute horrifying crises. Now, if Iran would be the one to attack first, then at least we might have some justification for war- but still the same results would come which any sane person would never want for themselves and family, country and world. If it has to happen let Iran start it.

From several exchanges, I learned why some people are voting for Romney. It is because Romney will launch a war against Iran. Generally, it is said that Muslims will attack the U.S. again. And that Iran will use nukes, maybe suitcase bombs. Muslim, socialist Obama won't stop it from happening.Now,...

Are we on the brink of war with Iran?Romney takes a very hard line concerning Iran. Obama has been trying to make sanctions work, and has urged Israel to wait it out. However, looking at newspapers from Israel, they seem to think that Iran will be capable of producing enough uranium to...

What is your opinion of "The Iran Deal"?To my view "The Iran Deal" is nothing short of "Kicking the can down the road, with an uphill road facing Israel and the USA" when the "deal" expires. Meantime, Iran builds the military technology and armaments,...

If someone says the words to you, 'what goes around comes around', how do you respond?Do you agree? Disagree? Totally dismiss it? And, I have heard this stated in different terms as well.

This is from FORBES. I am posting the whole article for your consideration:In tonight’s debate we saw a transformed Barack Obama, and it made a very big difference. In the first debate Governor Mitt Romney was relaxed and confident and in command; Obama was practically absent. Tonight, Obama was on...
