I've just been wondering how Obama allocates his time between business and campaigning. With turmoil overseas and problems in the U.S, I get a little upset seeing Obama on the Late Night Show or on TV shows. I'm thinking he has better things to do, but is it typical for presidents to place so much emphasis on campaigning? It seems that's all he does now.
sort by best latest
No I wouldn't want to be president either, but in a regualr job when faced with many things to do at once, I would just prioritize and being on TV would never come before taking care of the bigger things.
though he is in campaign his concentration is only on serving for the nation ,which makes him to do both!!!!!!!!
Keep in mind he didn't have to strap on his guns and go with the Seal Team to take out Bin Laden. All he had to do was give his OK. So it was entirely possible for him to do both the roast and the mission at one time.
He also doesn't have to be on the bow of one of those destroyers that are steaming to the middle east or fly the drones.
I guess I don't get the point of your last comment.
He doesn't have to be on those ships that are off the coast of Libya, he just has to command the operation and continue his campaigning.
Obama doesn't plan missions. He doesn't even attend security briefings.
Old Poolman: And how do you know that?
Because he never even served in the Military and would not have a clue how to do it. Thankfully, he has advisers for that.
What is there to govern right now? Congress is in recess yet again....they are the ones who pass laws, not the president.
Your kidding right? Where on earth did you get this information? I would be genuinely interested in your source as this is the first time I have heard this.
Just watch the video when he got the information and how he sat there
He showed great poise. The demwits made a political smear of it, and like much lower grade political propaganda it stuck in the minds of some as a fact. The retardicans tend to let such lies speak for themselves. It's a mistake. They take root.
Many of the presidents have been misrepresented and who knows how much they can take credit for. presidents in past have been on tV but Obama on Late night Jay Leno TV show- first president to be on there. It's like he's selling himself.
Sorry Izetti, but in order to stay relevant in an ever changing world of communication, if Obama wasn't on those shows someone else would be. I guess a staged and prerecorded show on Kelly Live was okay for Willard and Ann? Come on.
I was wondering if I was the only one thinking Obama does an awful lot of campaigning and TV shows for pubicity. I don't watch a lot of TV but stuck turned on the other day and him and his wife were everywhere on various shows, not a press release..
