I am dong research for a new hub. This question is not intended to be a "conspiracy theory," and is a bipartisan question, not looking for arguements or political grandstanding. I am studying some American Political history and see that many times we have policy that makes many rich countered by policy that saves us from the suppossed "brink of disaster," then back again....Is our political policy a giant chess game of sorts. What if the people we fight so passionatley for/against are really on the same side?

I agree, I call us the fast food country, give me what I want and give it to me now, LOL, we must become a more "conservative" society, not politically speaking, but personally, being less waistful and materialistic, it's our responsibility as humans
Did you mean "waistful" "wasteful" or both?
IDONO, thanks for pointing that out, I am terrible when I type about such mistakes as this, and I am not very good at spelling anymore either.lol...I meant wasteful...but being an obese country, I guess both do apply :)
Faceless39, Thank you for your comment, I will look that up!
suzettenaples, I agree, my study began with the Nixon era, we will have to unite to fix this before it's too late, please check out the house fire project, I believe this man has a great plan.
Very good point! The majority party:)
Attikos, Your right, we want to believe they represent the ideology inwhich we vote, but if that is all for "show" we have much bigger problems on our hands than the economy,we are again fighting for our freedom from the Aristocracy.
Date rape? Beautiful. If that's not copy righted, I wanna steal it and use it in the web site, Attikos!
Borrowing an analogy is hardly theft, MWNP. Go right ahead.
Thoreau was genious, I am hopeful many still exist, at the top of the page a great man has started a organization for a majority to be heard, maybe we can take this country back to the view of our founders if we can all come together. We did it once!
