Politics, like religion, stirs up emotions in some people bringing out their, shall we say, darker qualities. Knowing this is it a good idea to rouse them with political hubs?

LOL I think you are dead on
George before me?? I'm an emotion stirrer upper ain't I? Anywho ... I'm going to stir up some freaking emotion if you don't call me in about 5 minutes little girl!
Thanks Abby :)
Jimmy, I didn't wanna be toooo obvious by putting you first but I guess you did that for both of us, huh? You're lucky you're so cute :)
YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO BE TAKING A NAP!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great point Credence2. I agree with you when writing/speaking -focus on your passions - you will always receive opposition because you can't please everyone. But, go for it!
Acknowledged, Renee, your gracious comment is greatly appreciated!
I think we should be able to write about things we are passionate about, and that we need to respect other's views and that we should excercise freedom of speech but not to the point of harassing and demeaning someone for their view.
Most are respectful, but some aren't. As intelligent human beings we should be able to discuss opposing views and not have a virtual reality bloodbath. I think its is truly in how you present yourself and how you treat everyone who comments
I think its important to say we all don't have all the answers and aren't always right in our views, we have to be willing to be open to the possiblity someone has information for us that can help us make more informed decesions.
I think that if you choose to write about politics you know what you are opening yourself up to and I truly believe that some, like Frog, are perfectly capable of handling it. Myself I don't know enough about the subject so I read everyone's hubs
Come on KT. You know that we love ya here in Texas!
Hey, my comment to your comment didn't show up here! I'm sure Frog Prince is right, they do love you in Texas and on HubPages!
I haven't judged anyone on their personal view...and I want to go back to Texas:( Been too long since I moved out of state
You know I respect you Frog:) I learned a lot from you once I got past the more aggressive way you put your views out there and you are an awesome person...I still wonder though if you have another unleashed passion:)
:)) We do have to remember there is an aspect of this election that white men would never vote for a black president. Being it just race that is shameful in my opinion but to each their own, I vote for the qualified candidate, not their ethnicity
I hate to think hubbers are actually doing that! People need to learn to be open minded and accept other people's view and/or opinions...after all that's why there's vanilla and chocolate!
AMEN FreeGaza, I was in Germany and after two years we were moving back to the states and in the Frankfurt airport. I can understand and read some German and I overheard some men talking about how naive americans are about their government
I agree with you Abby. Most of them are naive and brainwashed.Europeans unlike are intellectual ,smart and open minded.Germans are nice and great people. My boyfriend is from Germany:)
I lived in 'Scotland, Japan and German and also have been to London...I don't remember much of Japan but I will go back to the other three any day of the week. After living in germany I started to see exactly what they have talked about
I lived in France,Italy,Egypt,Jordan.Dubai because of my dad s job.Now I am in NY .Originally I m from Indiana,Lafayette
I would say my home is southern California, the Los Angeles Valley....I miss it there but its too expensive. Truthfully I want to move to Scotland
I've written a few hubs about my "political opinions", I was just curious to see what others think.
I have strong views and I like discussing my views with people but I choose not to write about them. I have other issues I am passionate about. I like being challenged just not by bullies on a website that can't handle that someone doesnt agree
