I thought the youtube posting and bad press he got was worse because now everyone hates his guts for being such an immature, insensitive jerk. I think a fine is more appropriate. But this is what happens when courts become too politically correct.
After checking back here I watched the vids. Apparently the offender lied to cover his behavior, yet in the end he did make a public apology that at least sounds sincere. He now has a chance to prove his repentance by responding maturely.
