I have to giggle every time I see something about preparing for the end of the world. It's sort of a "what part of end do you not understand" reaction, but it's sad, because obviously people are not thinking.
I've heard of young people being really terrified--doing that to them is criminal, and I have a friend with relatives who are "preparers." They've "prepared" several times, actually, for the end of the world, and don't seem embarrassed that the predictions have been wrong. Nothing to laugh about, really, since the blindness is so sad.
Your first commenter has an interesting thought. Be extra careful out there until the people who think the end is tomorrow see that the next day's dawn breaks. May they embrace the Light of the World.
