Should we increase the voting age in the United States

Just before the presidential election I witnessed a college student in McDonald's proclaiming that if we elected our officials by popular vote his candidate would win. At least that's what the polls said. This kid was wearing what looked like a chipmunk on his head and was in pajama bottoms. My first thought was that this is what is voting for president. My question. You have to be 35 to run for president (for obvious reason) then why do we allow children to vote. Do you feel that we should leave voting age at 18 or raise to 25, 35, 50?
