Calling UK----calling UK---Do you trust OUR Government/David Cameron to rescue our fast failing NHS?( Especially now he has promoted a Chief Exec.of a failed hospital-to be leader of the NHS?

I agree with you. British citizens should realize how lucky they are and fight to keep your NHS in tact. You are precisely right about the propaganda over here and the fact that people fall for it boggles the mind. Our "system" is a joke at best.
Thanks Electro-Deizen,and ChristianS. Yes privatisation definately creeping in to NHS big-time now .New Labour started that ball rolling with ppfi's etc. (thanks Mr Bliar)'If folk want to stay healthy-keep off the horse meat!I sup.prop.is rifeabt NHS
You should be so lucky. The NHS is superb and Cameron needs to keep his slimy hands off it. He should keep his feet here and leave other countries to themselves.
give me a break - the bill that passed here in no way resembles NHS. You're buying into propaganda splendidly. Our new system was a "bailout" to insurance companies - not socialized medicine.
Thks God help us if NHS closed down,Only the rich wld be able to afford health care,Tories are wrecking our NHSThanks to Cameron's cuts NHS never been under so much pressure some hosp. failures due to staff lay offs. NHS is not free we pay-Nat.Ins.
My dentist is NHS, and he's great. They've done a great job on my crowns. I do believe you may be biased my friend :-))
THks for your comment .OUR NHS is and has always been envy of the world,-HEALTH CARE AT THE POINT OF NEED,thank GOD for it,Thank CERTAIN Politicians/and members of the public who fight for itssurvival,We the public PAY FOR IT THRO Nationa;l Ins.
I have a good friend in England who lost his wife to brain cancer a couple of years ago. The NHS did nothing to help her, insisting she just had a headache and gave her painkillers. "The envy of the world" - which world is that? Mars?
AlexDrinkH2O I've seen misdiagnosis in private clinics too...
I refer you to this - 'nuff said. http://articles.latimes.com/2012/aug/08/opinion/la...
Very interesting article. I think though the main point is being missed in our discussion. No-one in the UK *has* to go to the NHS, everyone has a choice. But for those who have nothing at all, it serves a purpose. Personally, I've found it good.
Yes I know even NHS has problems and failures. My father was misdiagnosed, given an operation he did not need, and haemoridge took hold due to a careless surgeon, after 3 ops in one week my dear father died. How'er I survived cancer only thanks to NHS.
