    Totally! Christin. Politics affects EVERY aspect of our lives from the water we drink to the shows we watch on TV. It's a hard, hard job to enact legislation and most people don't have the patience for it, yet criticize those in the trenches.

    I agree it is frustrating, but the fact that you recognize it is frustrating shows that you are paying some attention to the political scene, which is good. If enough frustrated people voice their opinion, we may see a change someday.

    One vote can make a difference. Granted in the presidential races, it is unlikely the results will come down to one vote, but in local races for city council, tax issues, etc., I have seen issues and elections decided by one vote--and a recount.
