They are out of touch with reality and really don't care about the middle class and poor. We can only hope that the Hispanic people will vote for the Democrats and keep a Republican President out of office any time in the near future. Have you ever really studied the Republican party. They are out of touch with reality and really don't care what happens to the poor and middle class Americans. Everyone can't be rich. I truly hope we don't have a Republican president elected any time in the near future. Unless they wake up to the needs of the poor and middle class they may be finished.

Ur views R 2 narrow. Corps need better regulating, not less. Gov. agencies need improving-not eliminating. Waste needs 2 B addressed. Tax $$ need 2 B spend here not abroad. Both parties need 2 come into the present, not live in the past. + more.
Both parties have changed immensely and their historic past has little to do with who they are now and how they handle what faces us now and in the future.
My apology for my first two sentences, crazyhorsesghost. That was uncalled for. You are entitled to your feelings. But I maintain that Republicans still want to build the middle class - always have. That is why they champion small business.
The Republican Party electing presidents on a regular basis is over. The Republican Party has changed much since Eisenhower or Nixon. The Civil Rights act was passed under LBJ. The Kennedy's fought hard for Civil Rights. Read your history.
I've been hearing that prediction all my life. It hasn't happened yet.
I have my facts straight. The Republican party all through out the years have tried to keep the poor and middle class down. What bills did the Republican pass that helped poor people.
savvy, is not very savvy at all. The GOP has changed over the years & now represents the wealthy/corporate. they R turning civil rights back 100 yrs, on voting/women's rights/basic human rights, etc. Watch news other than Fox & learn somethi
When generalizations R truth they can't be disputed. The GOP needs to step back from radical conservatism & step into the present in order to move into the future with any credibility. GOP says the same about Dems, that Dems say about the GOP.
The last thing the GOP needs is to become a "me too" party which is pretty much what is has been lately. Republicans need to present a bold platform designed to restore America to the great country it once was an get away from this mess we are now in
The politics of yesteryear are not going to save the America of today. It is going to take real changes. Hard changes that are never going to be popular with followers of either party.
those who can't see the GOP for what it is, are truly blind to the reality of who they favor, & who they represent. Watch the news, & follow politics before trying 2 defend the radical right.
@d.william - if you think today's GOP represents the "radical right," then you must be about 60 miles to the left of Karl Marx!
that's funny. only about 20 miles. The GOP/tea party certainly does not represent the people any more, unless U R including corporations in "the people" as the supreme court chose 2 do. Their current views R truly radical (abortions/voting rights..)
@d. william - Do you really think being against abortion and mandating people show proper identification when they vote are "radical?"
If that were the extent of it, no. R U watching N.Carolina? Texas? they R far beyond the pale that U suggest. 1500 bills banning abortion & contraceptives in the House of Reps in Washington? New laws banning gays in red states-not only marriages+
Not if there is say Hillary and a Hispanic Vice President. Then the Republican Party might be doomed.
I think the American people need to vote all the crooks out of office. I really see little differnce between a Republican or a Democrat. They all want to fill their pockets at your exspense.
