Will we ever be able to rid ourselves of the Patriot Act?

Sherry, we are talking about the President and Congress. They are not scoring any political points with this Act in place, but would certainly be blamed if we had another 9-11 type attack. The law will change to be less invasive--in time.

The food rationing act after WWII was repealed. Other laws have also been repealed. They just did not get the attention of the Patriot Act. Court rulings have given us our Miranda rights and the concept of separate but equal was overturned.
