Does The U.S. government overplay the national security card trumping our Constitutional rights


Do you think the U.S. government creates or infers national security threats as an excuse to override your Constitutional rights in order to more easily implement whatever goals it may have. And if yes, are you comfortable with that? Or, do you prefer safety be attempted at all cost no matter how many boots trample your Constitutional rights? Or, are you willing to run some risk in order to preserve the rights your forefathers and so many following them fought for you?
