Hmm... I have a few things to say on this issue. It's certainly an interesting topic for discussion but here are my thoughts:
-There will be people who do all they can to run Zimmerman through the mud from here until his death (and most likely after as well).
-There are people who will defend his every action, no matter what evidence comes to the surface.
I try to be careful of conspiracy theories as each has an agenda in mind. Fragments of truth or partial evidence is compiled to fit that agenda. Not saying this is necessarily a conspiracy theory, but it has that appearance.
I personally feel the silence from the accident victims is due to the fact they were receiving death threats for helping Zimmerman. Were they complicit? I have no clue and see no reason why I should choose one way or the other.
As far as the media goes, I feel like they would want Zimmerman to be guilty of orchestrating this event. It would make for the best story of the year, by far. The silence heard in the wake of the accident would be screaming if some kind of solid evidence was found that he truly had a hand in staging it.
After Sandy Hook and the Boston Bombings, similar stories popped up online with different takes on what happened. I think these alternate tellings of what actually happened can truly suck people in and consume them almost like a bitterness inside.
I personally feel like we'll never know the full truth about almost every event in life that takes place outside of ourselves. I've gone down the rabbit hole of trying to figure things out on my own with similar situations and had to stop myself. In an age where truth is either buried or half truths and lies are easily spread, I can only judge for myself what I personally know to be true!
