In what way was the expulsion of the ethnic German population in Eastern European

countries after 1945 an act of vengeance for the brutal Nazi Occupation of such territories?

It was retribution Many Eastern Europeans saw the German minority as dangerous so they decided to expel them permanently from their countries. Of course, many ethnic Germans were innocent but were considered guilty & Nazis although many weren't.
