Donating my body to science is something I've been planning on looking into because I'm not sure what all is involved. For me, it would be a secondary consideration. First, I want to be an organ donor and, with organs missing, that may exempt the rest from being important to science. But I've been thinking about what happens if they can't use any of the organs - say I die of some disease that won't allow that to happen. In that case, I think science might benefit from any type of study whether it's the disease or something else. I'm going to be dead, so what's the big deal? Of course, I'd want my family involved in any such decision.
