   What is the dumbest complaint you've ever heard about called into 9-1-1?
   
   A local man recently called 9-1-1 to complain someone had traced an "obscene" image in the thaw on his car window shield. Wasteful calls like this seem to be plaguing 9-1-1 operators more and more. What is the dumbest, whiniest and worst excuse for an "emergency" call you have heard was placed to a 9-1-1 service?

   I heard it on a news broadcast as an excerpt inserted for humor. Someone in I believe NY just got a parking ticket and could not afford to pay for it. 911 was called to try and have it rescinded.

   A woman called #911 about whether or not she should get a refund from a restaurant for raw waffles - after she ate half of it/them.

      I forgot. There was also the guy who called when his wife got stuck in her jacket because the zipper was stuck. The police came, got her out of the jacket, and gave the guy a ticket.

   I don't personally know of any complaints, but I do know of one very odd emergency that my husband dealt with while he was in medicine. The individual in question called 911 after realizing why it's a bad idea to wear a metal....ahem...."performance enhancement" ring. Funny, once things harden to a certain point, rigid items just don't want to allow any circulatory outflow anymore.

   I remember hearing about a woman who called 911 because the French Fries she orders were either too cold or not the right size.  It was a few years ago so I can't remember which.    Another one I heard about is a guy had robbed a house and stole something.  Then later on he gets mugged and what he had stole was stolen from him.  He called 911 and basically turned himself in

   A radio station I listen to likes to play some of these on their morning show and 1 that really got my attention was a drunk old lady called 911, gave them her address, her name, (which 911 already has), her car make and license number. She asked that they come by and keep an eye on her because she ran out of beer and had to drive to the carry out to get more. She told them that she was already really drunk and they may have to drive back. They kept her on the line long enough that a cruiser in the area could get there and when she pulled out of her drive, she was immediately stopped, arrested and taken to jail. That's one expensive 12 pack.

   9 calls to 911 because a grocery store would not cash a two party check. They were arrested, went to jail and fined 2,000
