Who has been subjected to fake fbi scare scams

either while surfing the internet or by e-mail? One has to be extremely savvy to safely and smartly navigate the internet. If one inadvertently go into an unknown place, a pop-up "indictating" that it is from "the FBI" states that one has committed an illegal act and his/her computer freezes. In addition to that, he/she is told to submit payment so the computer can unfreeze. However, this is a scam and when people pay, worse things occur. Also, fake fbi scams abound in e-mail letters also.

Ah ha yes, the FBI DOESN'T send e-mail or e-messages. They just make a SUPRISE SHOWING. However, there are some poor souls who continuously fall for these scams. Sad isn't it!
