Shouldn't it be our right to see to it they are treated and not endangering not only our children but all of us and since they usually never show up for their hearing it would be another way to let us keep track of them for that also. After all we are footing all the bills and it is our children and people at risk. Wouldn't this be a good thing that hurts no one?

I understand that but I dont see it as a cop-out but an attempt to save their children. God provides. America is not a dumping ground. It's the land of the free and that's all they're looking for. We're ALL immigrants, except full Native Americans.
Yes I personally believe they should eventually go home to and we give these countries millions if not billions and we should force them to care for their children but the fact is we don't care for our own. We have very very many homeless & starv
I am not an immigrant. I was born here. I didn't sneak in, nor was I pushed out by my home country. I was not dropped off by my mother at the border and told to find a new family. Treat the actual children with kindness and then send them home.
We are not and were not all illegals so that needs to be corrected and none of us alive today are responsible for 200 years ago so that argument is tiresome.
I agree, Jackie. I still say it is irresponsible of their parents to dump them at the border. If they temporarily parked them with us while they fixed things in their country, I would think differently.
retief I would never consider not treating them with kindness as I would be with any child altho I have no special feelings for the gangs that have gained entry & may even be claiming some of these children; without ID no one knows what happens!
It is time for states to not be ruled but the government that is true. Already they have not been allowed rights and it is time that stopped; whether it will be or not. We all know what is right. No one is asking anything unjust at all!
It is right no question about it. Bad things are going to be coming from these sick kids and I do not think it is prejudice in any way to want what is best for our people and what harm does it do these kids to finally do something the right way! THX!
Glad you brought that up because they are not safe the way it is. They are being handed over to people with no ID and could be used as sex slaves or killed but I guess as long as they are given to someone they look like that would not be prejudice.
So it is better to hand them over to just anyone of their race that claims them? Surely we owe them a little better than that? It is only a problem with disease I suppose if it is you or your child that get them. Their TB is antibiotic resistant.
We owe them a lot better but I'm not the one in the way of them getting it. I have no lack of concern for disease. My point was the irrelevancy compared to normal international travel, which is completely unscreened.
This information is withheld from the Governors of the states in which these illegal immigrants are being placed. There is no health screening and school is about to start. The additional expenses incurred by the states is a clear abuse of federalism
One of these freedoms we have should and is protecting our own and I do not know why they would cause such a problem for making sure they are checked out & healed is not a bad thing is it? That would also keep these children from being used or ab
What strength does it take to abandon your child? Many are not children, but teenage criminals from gangs. Treat their ills, fill their bellies and take them home.
I would have to agree I cannot imagine sending your child away from you no matter what and especially surely having the knowledge by now that many are not making it.
It's not our fault or responsibility that their countries are chaotic either. You mention God taking care of everyone, yet you seem to feel that America needs to be taking care of them, which is contradictory. You have a bleeding-heart argument.
Can you really look at someone who needs help, especially a child, and think to yourself "That's not my problem"? It's everyone's problem because we live in this world together. It's the lack of compassion for others that causes world issues.
No ma'am I cannot and that is what I have been saying for many years and trying desperately to get help for our homeless and especially the little children. In our own country but have I heard from you or any of the current administration even mentio
