Would you rather enjoy more with less money in a poor country OR be rich in a rich country?
People have a good life style, name and fame even with a small capital in a poor country, whereas even if one is earning a lot in a developed country one can't enjoy the luxury of being famous having a lot of attendants, followers etc. Which one would you rather choose?
This is a hard decision. I've experienced both. I live in the USA, but I wouldn't say I'm a rich American. I'm more middle class. I've also been to the Philippines. I'm richer than most people there. Everyone says hi to me like I'm a celebrity just because I'm an American. I really enjoy both countries. I don't really care about getting rich and famous. I enjoy both the USA and the Philippines because I've made good friends in both places.
Bravo! You really have understood the soul of my question. Your answer makes an interesting reading because it is based on your experience. Well done!
I think you are right there! You see, money is not all about how much is in your bank account but rather about how you are able to enjoy life in peace and all that can be acquired even with little money.
Fame is not also about being rich but about what you have that others don't have but wish to acquire.
The more money one has the more options they tend to have. I could be very happy being rich and unknown.
Major fame in the U.S. has it perks but it also has it downside. Some of these people can't enjoy the simple things in life most of us take for granted without having a group of cameras follow their every move.
Would you rather be a big fish in a little pond? or Would you want to be a big fish in the wide open ocean?
I'll choose the ocean every time.
I would rather be in less developed country that is off the radar, as long as the State was more out of our lives. Also, just getting away from the type of people that certain cultures produce and being around people who are more real would be refreshing.
Personally i would rather be poor than rich, if there we're poor people in the world at the time....Being poor is being real, being rich is being GREEDY!....& Oprah & Gates & all the rest of em are just the most greediests pigs in the world, & yet people worship them like there some sort of God's or something....How can anyone enjoy any luxury in this day & age when kids are dying starving, & getting slaughtered in the name of oil & control of "us"....In fact I'd sooner be dead than rich, in this truly f ked up world we're living in....I've worked in almost 40 countries in the world, & the poorest are easily hands down the most humble kind & sharing people there are.....Not all of them obviously, but in general i would sooner hang around with poor people (real people), than rich people (ego's, not real people).
