Russia has been constantly in the news. Is this the build up to the war? Or is this a ruse by the media to cover issues on the home front?
sort by best latest
Nailed it. It's probably a good thing I'm not in charge of the Government though. I wouldn't put up with that crap from other countries. Not necessarily through war, but politics as well.
I'd like to see us be good allies with Russia. I think you're right though... We have treated them like crap and insulted their fall from power. Kicked them while they were down. Now they're the kid on the play ground that too karate to beat up his b
Actually, you are probably right. The Revolutionary War, War of 1812, Civil War, WW i, WW ll, and Korea were the exceptions; of course each one was bigger than all the smaller ones combined.
Are you so bias, that history has no relevance?
I'm in the Army and we train daily to fight the best of the best. I think this comment is only relevant to the last 24 years.
I like the reference to NATO as a yappy little dog with Napoleon Syndrome. I didn't consider the economic weakness of Russia, but it does make sense. A million man Army isn't cheap to maintain. And is probably to expensive to mobilize on top of that.
Maybe we can handle them both. We might have to. Who knows.
ISIS is a military solution for EU, US,Arab nations. Ukraine is diplomatic solution for EU/US, but will evolve to arms & training support to Ukrainian forces. If NATO forces get involved, it will be a major conflict.making Iraq look like fist fig
I think ISIS needs a good spanking from Uncle Sam. You don't behead American citizens and get away with it.
I highly doubt America is that bad off. If America went down, the world economy would come to a screeching halt. I don't think other countries want to take the chance that they might fail also.
I would love to be wrong.
I know... Some days, I believe what you said earlier. I like the ignorance is bliss idea though. At least I can be prepared for it I guess. Maybe the glass being half empty makes people fill another glass to half empty. Just in case.
The next time you vote, vote Constitutional strength,
I'm going to be voting for whom ever I think can turn the country around.
That would be pragmatic moderates.
I would think there is one honest politician(oxymoron) out there that can do the right thing and make this country strong again.
