Do you think men are more violent than women are?
The many cases of men attacking only women in the most violent of ways had shown me how men can become from their bad past experiences. Especially, the case the that got my attention. the DeSalvo killings! What do you think?
Men are more stronger physically than women, but they are not more violent in general, of course some men have less mercy than some animals, but we can't say that as a rule, women are also violent in many situations, especially when they get jealous, and sometimes when their kids do something bad.
It is a manner can be found in any human being whatever its gender is.
No.I think they can be as violent as men. look at Jodi Arias for example. She and what she did to Travis Alexander. He sustained multiple stab wounds, a slit throat, and a gunshot to the head. Any of those three would of killed him.
Men being violent to women is taboo in our culture but it happens way too much. Spousal abuse is more sensational when a man does it to a woman. I understand it is also frequent in the Gay community and just as much so in the Lesbian community.
Woman are just as violent as men in the everyday. Big cases that hit the media are not a rule at all but rather just more sensational or with celebrities.
I think that women hide it out of shame and guilt and all kinds of bad reasons. But men much more so when they are victims.
I don't think men are any more violent than women in their natures. I think culture has encouraged men to be violent by labeling the use of force and violence as acts of strength. I think women are discouraged from violence by the same culture. I also think the glorification of jealousy in romantic relationships encourages violent behavior in both men and women. I believe that both finding violence acceptable and the valuing of jealousy come from leftover patriarchal customs.
A patriarchy wouldn't work in a culture where men aren't encouraged to show their strength and physical power over women or in a culture where women were allowed and encouraged to actually be strong. It also wouldn't work in a culture wherein men were taught how to be strong and how to feel strong without being violent or controlling. Men who don't feel like women are lesser beings don't support patriarchies, either.
I think the type of jealousy our culture values stems from marriage as ownership of women as heir producers.
I think the violence level of both men and women would become exactly the same if all the patriarchal relics were to die out of our society. I also think it would be dramatically reduced in both sexes.
Really, a touch question to answer. Because, Violence is not a matter, which depends up on gender. Because, We have many cases to show that, Women are more violent than men. So, It may not be sure, whether to say, men are more violent than women.
It depends upon the psychological behavior of a person, whether men or women. But, Every day, we are watching many incidents, where, husbands, behaving rude with their wives. So, Its common to think, that, men are more violent.
But, there are some women, who were more violent, to their husbands.

I bring this up because some people think that the united states is trying to ban this altogether and think that it will result in more crime from children being allowed to get away with more.... what are your thoughts on this

I believe yes, because killing is itself a violent act and if it is involved in the process of making food, it will definitely makes them more violent.
