How do you help people in need? Is there a difference if it is your neighbor or not.
Do you help people in need differently if the poor lives on the other side of the Globe, or if it is your "next door neighbor".
Do you help with money or good deeds?
And what if the situation is almost hopeless. Their houses are for sale, windows are broken, etc.
Gifts of food and groceries. Small luxuries can give a person hope where there is none. There are many people who are beyond desperate at the moment and it is heartbreaking. Little things do make a big difference. Taking someone out for a cup of coffee, dropping them off a lottery ticket, or giving them a basket of basic food or food treats. It all matters and every little thing you do does make a difference in someone else's life. You can see those who are in need. Hope is a very large gift to give even if you are only pointing them toward an agency that may be able to help them out.
I agree that good gifts are things and actions that give a person in need hope
Money will never be a matter to help one. I will just understand the situation, who needs my help. I don't think, whether he is poor or rich, my neighbor or not. If I have some money at that time, I won't hesitate to help them, in the form of money. Because, Money is not a permanent thing. But, life won't gets back.
Yes for me it makes a difference if the person in need is my neighbor because I know them all and suffer when then suffer. I can't end human suffering but I can help out a neighbor whenever in need, with my time, effort, friendship, and emotional support. If we have to do with less over here to share with a neighbor we will.

Why is it when you lend money to help people out of good faith...that they refuse to pay it back...when you yourself need it?

I hate attending them. I dislike being invited because it just seems all they care about is the monetary gift. It...

What kind of parenting is this? Would you help a person who was starving today? If you seen a homeless person on the ground would you help him or her up onto their feet, would you create a shelter if you had the money to do so for them, would you feed the hungry if you we're in a position to do so. Pondering questions, and if...
