I was listening to the attorney this morning during an interview and he said that they changed the way they present the evidence to the jury as well, or something along those lines. Do you think that had an effect on the outcome?
The way they changed it is key; it was more comprehensive. They recalled many details, reviewing them, repeatedly.
I agree that the community should come together, but it wouldn't be "a race thing" if there weren't still racial issues going on in the world
There wouldn't be race issues with more open minded people. I just don't understand how the OUTSIDE color of someone can make people so angry. It would be different if we could control the color of our skin, but it's impossible. We are born that race
Grand Jury is not a trial where some evidence can be excluded, GJ is to decide to indict or not.
They eyewitness accounts varied drastically. Can they be counted as evidence?
When eyewitness accounts conflict; you have to look at the majority of witness accounts; credibility, all weighed against the forensic evidence. The media just played to the drama in the situation -- not the facts.
