Is the current president, the first African-American president or the first bi-racial President?


Remember from a legal standpoint the child follows the status of the mother? So, during that extremely dark period of the early years of the United States "if the mother was enslaved the child is born to perpetual enslavement. On the other hand if the mother is free so is the child.

    First, thanks for responding. No, it does not matter in the least to me. Unfortunately, people are taught by the media and it keeps racism alive. And until America in particular is willing to have a serious conversation about racism it can never end.

    According to legal document enacted in this country, "The One Drop Rule" he can's be in both catagory.
