Am I really going to hell?

Are religious people, who think unbelievers are going to hell, bothered when people of other religions think they themselves are going to hell for not believing this second religion? Perhaps they just don't care because they don't believe in the god that is supposedly sending them to hell? Why does that sound familiar?

Beautiful answer Zelkiiro. I never thought of the neurological aspect. This is a welcomed realization.

I agree that we should know better. I am relieved at the rationalism these commentators have shown. The tactic of threatening people into believing something is truly ill-advised. Thanks for your answer.

@Buildreps: Ultra superb points. I never asked myself why the devil would be so lame to his best clientele, but this idea certainly has legs. About reasons for hell: exactly, why would god give you free will and then punish you for using it? Thanks!

This information is incorrect. Jesus spoke a lot about hell. There most definitely is a Satan. How can there not be w/all the evil in the world?

@SG: That is certainly what it is, but what it is is solely that, a book that says things. Lots of books say things. What is the evidence for the infallibility of this particular book? Please note that evidence for something cannot derive from itself
