Do you think Governor Scott Walker has what it takes to be the president of the United States?

Gov. Walker has put presidential campaign plans into action.

No. He's a climate-change denier, a creationist, and he wants to abolish unions. Those are just a few of the problems he has.

    I'll pass.

So he is not an adherent to your faith and therefore cannot be President. Have you heard there is no religious litmus test to be President?

      retief,

there are smart christians who realize evolution as fact. not wanting a creationist (someone who has a hard time with reality) in office isn't a religious test.

Is Evolution a fact?Fact is an interesting word.Is Walker a creationist? Isn't it a necessity for Christians to accept the idea of a Creator?Has Walker said the Earth is only 10,000 years old?Walker has never said he is a creationist.

Evolution is a stone-cold fact. It is provable, through hard, tangible, slap-it-against-your-face physical evidence, that life forms over millions of years have slowly changed forms to create the various species we have today. It. Cannot. Be. Denied.

Seems you have troubles with facts and theories. That is okay. Here is a little fact for you Walker has never said he is a creationist., but don't let that fact affect your emotional attachment to failed leftist ideas about human nature and economics

All of Gov. Walker's campaigns were funded and managed by the billionaire, anti-middle-class Koch brothers.
Walker was caught on a video before the last election as saying, His plan "is to divide and conquer the middle class." See for yourself: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K1S_Pxw2n-U

Do you have any idea how many well paying middle class jobs the Koch brothers supply through their companies? Are you aware that the middle class has been decimated by Obama policies and public statements? Why do lefties hate the middle class?

Yes, the Right just loves the middle class. That's why they keep fighting for tax breaks for the rich and to force the middle class to pay for them.

OH WAIT. That's the exact opposite of "love."

Apparently you do not understand money, taxation, economics or government spending. That's okay keep voting for lefties, there is no middle class in the worker's paradise.

Yes, keep defending them. Maybe they'll let you be rich one day and partake in all the unfair benefits, just like them. And maybe, just maybe, they'll let you be their best friend, too.

It is lefties who must defend their words and actions as they continually attack the very industries that produce middle class jobs.Private jets, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, etc...are under constant lefty attack. You want to kill the middle class

He doesn't even have what it takes to be the clerk at a Blockbuster, because rich punks like that who've been spoiled all their lives don't care about responsibility, and they certainly don't care about the interests of the people they govern (except for the other rich ones whom he can collect kickbacks from, of course).

He has been elected governor of Wisconsin twice and with stood recall efforts, sounds just like the clerk at Blockbuster??? (how about a modern reference)

Walker has been a preternatural force in a marginally blue state while under constant, aggressive and illegal attacks from that state's leftists. Sound like a winner.

Shouldn't he be older and wiser? This is just a THOUGHT.

You mean like JFK older or Barack Obama older? Or Jimmy Carter wiser?

    It's too early to tell.
In order to win a general election the nominee from either party will need to win over a percentage of Independents and Swing voters in addition to holding on to their core supporters.
A moderate Republican could accomplish this but it will be difficult for such a person to win the Republican nomination in the Tea Party era.
The things he'd have to say he believes in or align himself with in order to win his party's nomination will be the same things used against him during the general election.
His statements regarding vaccinations were on the money.
One bad example is Todd Akin who is Pro-life even in cases of rape or incest. He's famous for saying:
"In a situation of rape, a (legitimate rape), a woman’s body has a way of shutting down so the pregnancy would not occur," That pretty much killed his chance of getting elected to any office.
Another example is Dr. Ben Carson's claim that being gay is a choice because many men go into prison straight and become gay.
As if prisons  were "co-ed" and the men chose to have sex with men over women. He also ignored the fact that some men are forced to have sex in prison and are passed around against their will or they chose a "partner" for (protection and survival.)
Ignorant statements to justify one's position concerning private matters tends not to win over Independents and Swing voters.
His best chance is to avoid falling into those traps and focus on his plans for the improving the economy and foreign relations. Bashing Obama will keep the hard core supporters happy but that won't be enough to carry a general election.
He has to offer the nation an appealing alternative plan.
