Has Obama kept Americans safe during his short time as president?
Keep in mind the attack at the Army fort in Texas today which was carried out under Obama's watch. The media played down the fact that President G.W. Bush kept us safe from attacks after 9/11
The fact that there were no Al Qaeda terrorist attacks in the continental U.S. may or may not be attributable to George W. Bush. There were several terrorist attacks on U.S. facilities and those in U.S. allied countries under Bush, not to mention the 4,000 plus killed in Iraq for no good reason. His foolish and unnecessary invasion of Iraq created a magnet and training ground for fanatical terrorists from all over the Middle East. Bush erred by thinking that the best way to deal with terror was with the military. Now, Obama may be making the same mistake in Afghanistan.
There have been numerous workplace shootings and mass killings that have occured in the US over the past 10 years. And, as far as we know so far, that is what happened at Fort Hood. Beware of jumping to conclusions too quickly.
We are in more danger than ever before since September 11, 2001. I just hope we get that BEFORE we get another big hint.
Obama is George Bush part 2.
Keep poking the dog with the stick and eventually when given the chance he will bite you.
Trying to legislate and force beliefs on people will never work.
All the USA Military is doing is making Angry people angrier.
wow we erred by going to iraq. poking a dog with a stick will eventually get you bitten.
WE WERE BITTEN BEFORE WE TOOK OUT OUR STICK!!!!
iraq, iran, yemen, afganistan, ect... are all in it to destroy us, the western hemisphere and any and all non-muslim people. Isreal has been a thorn in the arabs side for many thousands of years. the extremist have said we want to wipe isreal and the u.s. from the face of the earth. when we wanted to "talk nicey" to them they just kept saying the same thing. no amount of force is too much. only victory is enough. let's not get complacent and think this will go away. they are getting stronger, smarter and richer so they can be more bold. there is more to come and some people here won't wake up until their neighborhood is gone.
give GW his due, he may not be the best pres we ever had but he did not bend from his principals. i did not care for his domestic policy especially when he was willing to sign the "mccain-kennedy" bill. glad that did not make it. but he was and is still for a strong defense and his foreign policy was good. not great but good.

Never in my life have I seen such vitriol directed at our current POTUS and our former POTUS. Some people didn't like Clinton or Daddy Bush, some made fun of Ford and thought Carter was inept, and some thought Ronnie was senile, but I honestly don't remember as much pure hate directed at any of...

Remember, an accomplishment is something that actually results in something good happening for the US. Something that is being used and taken advantage by the people. It is not just passing bills, or starting plans that won't take effect for several years. Something that is beneficial and solves a...
