"I agree with Ben Carson, no muslims as president." It is title of a question posted by member and after reading this post I came to a conclusion that extremists are everywhere not only in Islamic countries. I am a moderate Muslim and I am ashamed of some of my fellow Muslims who go to extremes. I am not a fan of Obama but I think that colorfulone targeted him because of his family background.

aliasis I think all religions are equal in a way because all religions teach their followers greater good of mankind. No religion says followers to hate others
Muhammad Ali and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar are Muslims who are loved around the world. However every group of people has members they are ashamed of. Such is life.
dashingscorpio everyone knows that Obama is not a Muslim. When he was elected as a president we were happy. His selection as a president was proof that American people believe in democracy but individuals like Ben Carson are spoiling this broad image
Haroon Shehzad, If only you were correct. According to a Huffington Post poll conducted in September 2015: "The poll finds that 54 percent of Republicans think Obama is a Muslim" and "44 percent, say they don't think he was born in the U.S."
dashingscorpio it is not a debate if he is a Muslim or not. You are right that people consider him a Muslim but it is not fair to hate him like this because he has a Sur name hussein
Shyron E Shenko by family background I mean his Muslim father who divorced his mother when Obama was three years old. I asked a question whether it was right to hate Obama just because his father was a Muslim and his Sur name is hussein
I don't believe anyone deserves to be hated for any reason, and President Obama should not be disliked because of who his father was/is.
