Once again I must say that the recent presidents have lowered the bar so low that most of the candidates would be in the same company, and therefore be presidential material.
There is no requirement of being a politician to run for the presidency. Only requirements are
Clearly Trump meets those requirements.
Looking back at 911, and 2008, we see that presidents that were experience politicians haven't help to protect the country. And yet, every presidential election we the people continue to put these candidates into the presidency.
This preference by the voters has not only failed to help the country, but it has also created a congress that has been gridlocked more and more over the years, to the point where they are just slow dancing in circles.
At the core of the problem are the voters that keep having faith in their political by electing and reelecting the party icons into office.
There is no real proof that this method of voting is beneficial to the country or the people. But, it can be shown that these types of elected officials have been in office when the country got attacked, and when the economy failed.
History can demonstrate how control by each party has most of the time resulted in failure, and both parties have no solutions, yet the loyal party voters continue to bet on losing hands.
How does voting the same way, based on political parties, rather than on the best candidate ever going to result in a positive, and successful result.
It can't, and it didn't, do we want to keep electing losers, gridlockers, and politicians that align with the party, and not the country or the people.
Just because winning an election only requires a majority, the winner because of their party loyalty is not going to represent the voters of the opposing party.
